Dubai Investments to sink Sh2bn into Kenya, Africa chain of private schools

million (Sh2 billion) in a company that is building a chain of private
schools in multiple African countries including Kenya and Uganda. FILE

“Sabis has a long-standing history of offering quality schooling
and is a respected name in global education landscape and this
partnership will go a long way in opening school doors to millions
across Africa,” Khalid Bin Kalban, the CEO of Dubai Investments, was
quoted by Gulf News.
The consortium, investing
through the holding company Africa Crest Education (ACE), is building
its first school in Nairobi with a capacity to take in 2,000 students
when it opens in September.
ACE plans to build a total of 20 schools in the medium term.
