Tunduru District Director sacked over poor performance

Tunduru District Director in Ruvuma Region, Mr Abdallah Mussa

President John Magufuli has revoked the appointment of Tunduru District Director in Ruvuma Region, Mr Abdallah Mussa, for failing to deliver.

According to a press statement issued by the Head of Communications Department in the President's Office (Regional Administration and Local Government Authorities), Ms Rebecca Kwandu, PO-RALG Permanent Secretary Mussa Iyombe has announced the President’s decision in Dodoma, on Thursday morning.
The statement added that the vacuum left by Mr Mussa will be filled later.
The sacking of the Tunduru DED follows after the same decision was taken on the Bukoba Municipal Council Director, Erasto Aron Mfugale and Bukoba Rural Municipal Council Director, Mwantum Kitwana Dau early this week.
