Daily News Senior Writer, Rose Athuman is no more.
Ms Athuman passed away at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, where she was receiving treatment after a short illness.
Ms Athuman’s family shared the sad news on Thursday morning and arrangements for her burial were still underway.
Daily News Acting Editor, Leonard Mwakalebela said that the paper has lost a hardworking and disciplined staff.
“We have been shocked by the demise of
Rose…she has left a gap not only at the company, but also the media
industry at large,” Mr Mwakalebela added
