The woman found dead alongside IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando was strangled, an autopsy has revealed.
Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor on Thursday said Carol Ngumbu’s neck and throat were... squeezed by killers police are yet to catch up with.

He said she died from "asphyxia due to ligature strangulation", which loosely translates to inability to breathe due to tying of the neck tightly.
The autopsy carried out at City Mortuary in Nairobi was witnessed by Ms Ngumbu's family and police.
Ms Ngumbu's mother Alice Nduruka on Tuesday spoke to the Nation and described her daughter as calm and peaceful.
The family has transferred the body to Kihara Mortuary that is near Gachie, where they live.
It emerges that Ms Ngumbu and Mr Msando suffered a similar fate in the hands of bloodthirsty murderers who dumped their bodies in a thicket in Kikuyu, Kiambu County.

A post-mortem conducted on Wednesday revealed that Mr Msando was also strangled.
Dr Oduor said: “He died from strangulation and he also had incisions on his right arm, but the rest of the body was intact.”
The post-mortem at Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi, which was conducted between 12pm and 4pm, was also witnessed by a private pathologist and some of Mr Msando’s relatives.
The ICT boss went missing on Friday evening and his body was found together with that of Ms Ngumbu at Muguga Forest.
Police have so far recorded statements from six people on the murders that shocked the country and drew condemnation from the international community.
Inspector-General Joseph Boinnet on Thursday said they were looking for four more persons of interest.
