The victim was admitted to the hospital after President Magufuli heard her ordeal and decided to intervene. After fully recovering from her severe wounds on her body parts including her hands and chin attached to her chest because of burns, Neema currently is out of danger medically.
According to her, on the fateful day , her husband took the measure out of a quarrel that she had harvested some maize from their family farm without his permission.
The President became remorseful to her and that made the government to promise to help her including her children, who were assured of resuming their studies despite her absence.
