JPM forms team to examine mineral sands

PRESIDENT John Magufuli has formed a committee of experts to examine mineral sands in order to establish the amount of minerals contained.

A statement issued by Chief Secretary Ambassador John Kijazi said that the eight-man committee is required to start work immediately.
He mentioned members of the committee as Prof. Abdulrahman Hamis Mruma, Prof. Justianian Rwezaura Ikingula, Prof.
Joseph Bushweshaiga and Dr Yusuf Ngenya. Others are Dr Joseph Yoweza Philip, Dr Ambrose Itika, Mohamed Zengo Makongoro and Hery Issa Gombela.
