PRESIDENT John Magufuli has appointed 13 district executive directors and two Regional Administrative Secretary (RAS) .
The list includes a journalist with the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC), Mr Frank Bahati and a presenter with Clouds Television, Mr Hudson Stanley Kamoga who become district executive directors for Ukerewe and Mbulu districts respectively.
Mr Msigwa said of the 13 newly appointed DEDs, eleven would be serving in district councils, one earmarked for a municipal council and one for a town council.
Others include Godwin Emmanuel Kunambi (Dodoma Municipal); Elias R. Ntiruhungwa (Tarime Township Counci); Mwantumu Dau (Bukoba District Council); Godfrey Sanga (Mkalama District Council) and Mwailwa Smith Pangani (Nsimbo District Council).
The list also includes Yusuf Daudi Semuguruka (Ulanga District Council); Bakari Kasinyo Mohamed (Nachingwea District Council); Juma Ally Mnwele (Kibondo District Council); Butamo Nuru Ndalahwa (Moshi District Council); Waziri Mourice (Karatu District Council) and Fatma Omar Latu (Bagamoyo District Council).
“All the DEDs will be required to report to the President’s Office (Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) in Dodoma on September 13, this year, for other directives,” read the statement.
The statement went further to say that Mr Ntandu along with Mr Ado Steven Mapunda (RAS Mara) and Tixon Tuliangine Nzunda (RAS Rukwa) who were appointed on September 9, this year will take oaths on a date to be announced later.
