Police lift in-house political ban

Police force lifted the in-house political meeting ban starting today.

However, Commissioner of Police for Training and Operations, Mr Nsato Mssanzya said other political rally bans—demonstrations and outside ones—stick.
The police lifted the ban following satisfactory political situation.
The army instituted the ban in June this year. The police said members of parliament are allowed to conduct political rallies at their respected constituencies.
