Kampala was the first recipient of the first of the ten Toyota Premios
that are being given out to in the Omo Collect and Win promotion that
has been ongoing since 11TH August, 2014.
An ecstatic Nabawanuka, a nurse by profession could not hide her excitement as she received her car keys.
“I am so excited to be the winner of a brand new
Toyota Premio courtesy of Unilever Uganda. This car is surely going to
ease my movements. I collected over 900 wrappers and I urge everyone out
there to collect Omo Fast Action wrappers and win like I have. This is a
dream come true for me,” she said.
The first draw which took place on Friday 16th at
Mukono Taxi Park attracted large crowds of locals who turned up to
participate in the promotion. To participate, a customer has to collect
Omo Fast Action sachets, put them in an envelope with their details;
name and telephone contact and drop them at the nearest collection point
country wide.
Speaking at the handover ceremony of the keys of
the brand new Toyota Premio to the lucky winner, Diana Nabukenya, the
Unilever Uganda Customer Marketing Manager said the promotion seeks to
reward customers for using Unilever products.
“We are looking at strengthening the bond by
rewarding our loyal customers for the trust they have put into our wide
range of products. We pledge to continue offering our customers the best
and most affordable products on the market,” Nabukenya said
Other winners were Nakajubi Resty who won a brand new motorcycle, Rukia Onyaru, Katende Fred who both won new washing machines and Abba Irene who won a duvet, bedsheets and flat iron.

The draws for other prizes such as washing
machines, shopping vouchers, flat irons, duvets and ironing boards have
been ongoing in the weekly activations country wide
The draws for the remaining nine Toyota Premios
vehicles will commence in November 2014 with regional winners and climax
with the grand finale in Kampala.
