NHC warns buyers it has no agents, brokers

NHC Business development director, David Shambwe
National Housing Corporation (NHC) has warned its potential clients that it has not authorised any sales personnel to act as real-estate agents on their behalf and clients are to be wary of anyone who claims to be an NHC sales agent or broker.

Speaking earlier this week in Dar es Salaam, the NHC Business development director, David Shambwe, said clients are to contact NHC directly to express their interest to buy.

He was speaking during the launch of the sale of 118 units at Hananasif in Kinondoni District, Dar es Salaam.
“I warn all potential customers to avoid using middlemen because NHC has neither brokers nor agents. If you want to buy a house please contact us directly,” he said.

As for the launched sale, a six percent discount is to be enjoyed by clients who manage to complete their payments within 90 days (3 months) of the commitment to buy date.

“The houses have are of varying sizes and appearances tailored to suit aesthetic demands and financial muscles,” he detailed.
The houses on sale have price ranges from 199m/- to 253m/- VAT exclusive.
Clients are recommended to make a ten percent down payment and subsequently mortgage facilities from one of the 12 banks working with the corporation will be availed.
