PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan is expected to inaugurate an 81- rooms’ luxuries hotel located at the prominent real estate projects, dubbed 'Morocco Square' October this year.
The new hotel started operations after the government decided to develop the project that was considered as white elephant for several years.
Last year, the National Housing Corporation (NHC) signed an agreement with hotel management to invest in the facility.
The Morocco square property owner NHC has already leased 94 percent of malls and retail shops, with the 81- room hotel bought by the Indian company that will operate it.
Yohana Mwaigaga, Human Resources Manager of the facility confirmed this over the weekend at the soft inauguration of the services ahead of the official inauguration.
He said that hotel has already employed 100 Tanzania workers in different cadres such as food and beverages restaurants, markets, transport, gym and reception
“The hotel is located at the intersection of the morocco square and every person can reach it when seeking services. I call on other investors to opt to invest in NHC projects that have good infrastructure” he said.
Emmanuel Lyimo, the Acting Manager, Sales and Markets at NHC said that the corporation had created a conducive environment for investors interested to invest at the morocco square.
“Up to date, we are proud to get an investor, in our property. Lucky enough we also sold 75 percent of residential apartments, ”he said.
