Bolt woos corporates and SMEs with scheduled rides up to 90 days in advan

DAR ES SALAAM: In response to customer feedback, Bolt, the leading on demand mobility company, will be extending its Scheduled Rides pre-booking feature.

Now, business customers can book rides up to 90 days in advance, compared to the previous window of 72 hours. This decision comes as Bolt experiences a significant increase in demand for Scheduled Rides, with a month-over-month growth rate of 30%.

Extending the advanced booking window for scheduled rides is aimed at enhancing the customer experience, particularly for corporate and SME clients, by enabling them to plan their trips well in advance. Moreover, customers now have the option to choose their preferred ride category and provide specific instructions for drivers, allowing for a more personalised experience tailored to individual needs. This enhancement supports the time-saving objectives of corporates and SMEs.

Milu Kipimo, Bolt Business Country Manager said: “We’ve seen tremendous demand for Scheduled Rides since introducing the feature in 2022 in response to customer feedback. By extending the pre-booking window from 72 hours to 90 days, we hope to see the same success. It’s another step towards our mission of enabling our business customers to plan and predict their rides efficiently.”
