NBC embraces more innovation

Dar es Salaam. The National Bank of Commerce ( NBC) over the weekend announced the launch of NBC Connect, a latest addition to its...

innovative suite of digital banking services, in Mbeya Region.

NBC Connect is a cutting-edge digital banking platform that offers a wide range of convenient and secure banking services, accessible anytime, anywhere, using a mobile device.

With NBC Connect, customers in Mbeya and the surrounding regions will have access to a host of banking features that are designed to simplify their financial transactions and enhance their banking experience, according to a press release availed to the media over the weekend.  

 This, the press release added, includes the ability to pay all types of payments both local and international, as well ad government and mobile payments all from the convenience of their mobile devices, computer, or tablet device. 

Customers will get online financial status of their account and transactions at the convenience of their fingertip.

NBC Connect is built on a robust and secure technology platform that prioritizes the safety and confidentiality of customer’s information. 

It is designed with multiple layers of security measures, including encryption and multi-factor authentication, to ensure that customers' financial information is protected at all times.

 NBC Corporate banking director James Metairon said, "This digital banking platform is a testament to our commitment to providing our customers with cutting-edge banking solutions that are convenient, secure, and user-friendly solutions to banking."

 Mbeya District Commissioner Benno Malisa thanked NBC Bank for this innovation and encouraged customers to explore the new simplified banking to ease their daily transaction hustle.

 He also thanked the bank’s management for adding another branch in Mbeya town and for its social corporate responsibility activities that impact most citizens across the nation

“The launch of NBC Connect in Mbeya represents the bank's strategic expansion plan to serve more communities in Tanzania and contribute to the country's economic growth," said Mr Malisa.

The NBC Connect launch in Mbeya goes along with a newly opened branch in Mwanjelwa market that will offer a wide range of banking products and services, including, but not limited to personal and business accounts, loans, savings and investments, foreign exchange services, and digital banking solutions.
