Kenya’s Press Freedom index has improved from position 103 to 69 globally in 2022. According to the latest rankings by Paris based Reporters Without Borders, Norway, Denmark and Sweden are safest countries for journalist to work in, with North Korea and Eritrea ranked as the worst respectively. The report assessed the level of media freedom in 180 countries and territories.
