President Ramaphosa blasts rich countries for 'vaccine hoarding'

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa warns against rich countries bulk buying and hoarding coronavirus vaccine doses. Addressing the virtual 2021 World Economic Forum, Ramaphosa said low and middle income countries were being sidelined by wealthier nations, some of which have been able to acquire up to four times the amount needed for their population. He also used the opportunity to highlight the importance of the African free trade agreement.
