Sh228M disbursed to vulnerable households through GiveDirectly

In response to the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, GiveDirectly is implementing a £5million(approximately 717 million Kenyan Shilling) direct cash assistance programme, to support Kenyans living in urban slums whose livelihoods have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and necessary public health restrictions.
