Kenya: 24 Kenyan SMEs Benefit From Investment Deals
The tour was conducted in 6 countries in Africa between August 3rd and 30th with the Kenyan chapter taking place on 3rd and 4th August.
The firm’s CEO, Nyakan June, noted that the funding is aimed at equiping and empowering SMEs to guarantee their survival and prosperity of Africa’s economic transformation, especially at this time when the coronavirus pandemic has threatened the global economy.
“The effect of covid-19 on SMEs in Africa will have a devastating effect on Africa’s economy since Africa’s economic engine is primarily driven by SMEs. Pushing full support to equip and empower SMEs will guarantee their survival,” June said.
The African enterprenuers will receive support from more than 16 investors who will finance their projects, offer technical and business support to enhance their growth.
The support and agreements from the 6 Governments has made it possible to execute this unprecedented initiative during a time when the world is grappling with the effects and restrictions of the COVID -19 pandemic.
The Tour was also conducted in Rwanda with 7 enterprises making it to offer stage and deal making.
The South African took take place from 10th -11th August , Malawi 13-14th Aug 2020, Zambia concluded the Tour from 17-21 Aug 2020 and 24-28 August 2020.
