Yoweri Museveni has visited the former Kenyan head of state Daniel Arap
Moi and Uganda’s ailing Speaker of Parliament Ms Rebecca Kadaga at a
Nairobi hospital.

“This
morning, as I end my three-day state visit to Kenya, I visited the
mausoleum where founding President Jomo Kenyatta rests and paid my
respects. I also visited Mzee Daniel Toroitich arap Moi and our Speaker,
Rebecca Kadaga, who are in hospital. I wish them a speedy recovery,” Mr
Museveni tweeted.
By
the time of filing this story, Mr Museveni was scheduled to deliver an
address at Kenyatta University on African Integration, which would mark
the end of his visit.
Ms Kadaga was last week airlifted from Kampala to Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya because of fatigue and hectic work schedule.
Her press secretary, Mr Sam Obbo, said in a statement that the Speaker’s health condition was a private matter which the doctors cannot reveal to anyone except close family members and attendants.
Ms Kadaga was last week airlifted from Kampala to Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya because of fatigue and hectic work schedule.

Ms Kadaga was referred to Nairobi upon advice of doctors at Nakasero Hospital where she was first admitted on Thursday.
