Government pledges Sh4 billion daily to cashew farmers

• The government pledges to speed up issuance of payment to cashew nut growers, commits itself to issue at least Sh4 billion per day.
• The government so far has issued payment to at least 22, 269 growers from 97 verified cooperatives in which at least 6,712,681 kilograms of cashew have been bought worth Sh22.151 billion , according to agriculture minister.
