Corporation (TPC) has expressed its commitment to ensure its services
benefit all people within and outside the country by increasing their
revenue and expand their technologies.
TPC Board Chairperson, Lieutenant Colonel
(Retired), Dr Harun Kondo expressed the commitment in Dar es Salaam
yesterday when speaking to reporters on the development of the
corporation.
He said for the corporation to achieve its
development goals, its management must work together and avoid
misunderstandings to improve their revenue and reach their target of
being among one of the most profitable corporations in the country.
“We successfully improved our revenue
compared to past years. We also improved our services in order to
increase our customers and make the corporation grow and benefit many
people across the country,” Dr Kondo said.
He added that they have succeeded in
expanding their modern services, saying that they are finalizing
preparations of providing modern services to all customers in Africa.
The Lieutenant Colonel (retired) added
that since its establishment, TPC has passed through tough times, saying
now the company has started making profit due to efforts that have been
put in place by improving services and maintaining credibility and
efficiency to the workers.
He explained that the organisation has
implemented a special strategy that will enable all government
institutions, organisations and companies will work together and make
the corporation a place to acquire all services through ‘Jamii Centre’.
On his part, Acting Postmaster General, Mr
Hasan Mwang’ombe said that the corporation plans to increase its
services by working closer to their customers and looking at ways of
delivering their services in a short time.
