Centum is seeking an exclusive distributor
for its alcohol portfolio under its King Beverage subsidiary, as it
moves to grow uptake of its brands locally.
The
exclusive distributor for Carlsberg and Tuborg beer brands is looking to
boost its distributorship network to populous areas within and out of
Nairobi.
These include Eastlands, Thika, Murang’a, Nyeri, Malindi and Kisii among others.
“We
aim to grow our distribution network for the range of alcoholic
products to enhance our great experience of the great brands to
additional markets within Kenya,” said King Beverage in a notice in
local dailies last Friday.
Increased competition has
stepped up the need or distributors to diversify their market reach
beyond Nairobi for growth and visibility of the brand.
A wider distribution network will put the products by the brand eye to eye with premium beer from East African Breweries (EABL)
.
