- Bancassurance, which entails the
selling of insurance products and services by banking institutions, is
largely operated in Tanzania without regulations and only a few lenders
participate.The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (Tira) is finalising regulations to guide Bancassurance in the country.
