Nairobi is among cities in four African countries named as top
destinations for global corporate meetings due to its high class hotels
and quality of services.
Meetings, events, and
hospitality technology firm, Cvent Supplier Network which released its
annual lists of the top cities for meetings and events worldwide singled
out the city as a much-sought after location.
The
year-long analysis conducted between January 2017 and December 2017 said
select cities in South Africa, Egypt and Morocco also made it to the
390-city list after 11,000 cities across the Caribbean and Latin
America, Middle East and Africa as well as Canada and Europe were
evaluated.
“When we first launched Top Destinations in
2012, the only cities highlighted were located in the United States.
Now, six years later, Top Destinations includes six lists covering every
region in the world,” said Cvent Hospitality Cloud vice president of
marketing Chris McAndrews.
Nairobi has in recent years hosted presidential delegations
attending global events with KICC’s ballrooms, conference halls and open
grounds used for the government-to-government events
