THE ongoing government’s efforts to woo investors from abroad have gained momentum following one law firm, Stallion Attorneys Company, joining in to support initiatives that are likely to increase the number of investors in the islands. 

We have started to talk to investors from Spain, Turkey, Tunisia, Canada, India, US, and South Korea about advantages of investing in Zanzibar and Tanzania. We are committed to support the government in having more foreign investors,
Mr Shehzada Walli- founder member of the Stallion Attorney said. Stallion Attorney which was established in 2015 organised the familiarisation gathering with its possible clients, including government officers and individuals at Hotel Verde, where Mr Walli emphasised on collaboration to win investors. 
With many investors, we hope to create many jobs to minimise the current job crisis in the country,” Walli said at the meeting which also included an Iftar diner reception hosted by the law firm.
He said that President John Magufuli and his Zanzibar counterpart, Dr Ali Mohamed Shein’s commitment for industrialisation needs support from all Tanzanians, including law firms and other companies operating in the country.
The guest of honour at the reception, Mr Hamada Rashid Mohamed, who is the Minister for Health, thanked Stallion Attorneys for showing support to government’s efforts in pushing the economy faster by encouraging investors. 
The investment environment in both Zanzibar and mainland has been better, with improved infrastructure and political stability. We invite people from all over the world to invest here,” Mr Mohamed said at the gathering which also attracted other dignitaries from both private and public sectors
