Safaricom has grown its outlet network following the opening of five shops to cater for increasing demand of its services across the country.
The outlets include three in Nairobi on Ronald Ngala Street, the Greenspan Mall to cater for Eastlands customers and a remodelled shop at the Village Market.
The company has refurbished its Kitui shop and opened a new one in Nyahururu that will handle customers from Nyandarua County, Laikipia West and Samburu Central sub-counties.
Safaricom Strategy director Joseph Ogutu noted the new outlets will grow the company’s shop footprint to 48 across the country.
“Our investment in these new shops will go a long way in meeting these emerging customer needs within a fast evolving technology landscape,” he said.
The motivation for opening the new shops is based on increasingly digital enabled lifestyle driven by growing smartphone uptake, advanced 3G and 4G networks, and smart, connected homes.
