President Uhuru Kenyatta is today campaigning in the counties of Meru, Tharaka-Nithi and Kitui.
He
will address the first public rally at Athiru Runjĩ-inĩ in Meru at 11am
then proceed to Mikinduri and Chaaria before going to Marimanti in
Tharaka Nithi County. He will later go to Kitui County.

The Jubilee candidates in Nairobi have been wooing voters from the Kamba community to vote for them in the coming elections.
They are Mike Sonko who is seeking the governor's seat, Woman rep Rachel Shebesh who seeks to retain her seat and nominated MP Johnson Sakaja who is seeking to be the next senator of the city county.

IEBC yesterday successfully tested the system to be used in identifying voters and also send results on August 8.
The commission also demonstrated the steps it has taken to protect votes from hacking.
