CRDB Bank for eased payment services

CRDB Bank has introduced new debit card and launched premier club customer service centre aiming to easing payments world widely.

CRDB Managing Director, Dr Charles Kimei said in Dar es Salaam at the weekend during the launching of the new Tembo Card Visa Infinite and Premier Club customer service centre that the new services aimed to help customers in their day to day activities of building our economy.
With the intention of the fifth phase government of building industries and hence boost the country’s economy, easy financial services that will facilitate transactions at any point of the world are needed.
“CRDB bank Premier Club is a customer service centre intending to treat with extra attention our customers mostly those who will be using our new cards. At the centre, customers will be reserved with special services compared to others, will be assisted by well trained customer service officers and served in very short time,” he said.
He said those who will enroll at the centre will receive special cards called Tembo Card Visa Infinite, be prioritised in various services as well as recover the charges and interest in the services they will use.
They will also be advised on a variety of services, including investment in the stock market and other financial assistance. CRDB Bank’s Director of Marketing Research and Customer Services, Ms Tully Mwambapa said the card will allow customers to enjoy a variety of services available world-widely through Visa network.
“Customer with Tembo Card Visa Infinite card will be able to get help at any place in the world, and if it happens he lost his card, he will receive a new card where it will in a very short time help him continue with his business,” she elaborated.
With the card, customers will be offered travel insurance along with their families if they made payments through their cards, additional warranty for the product will be bought using the card, customers will be able to receive services at VIP lounges at International airports, as well as discounts in shops, hotels, restaurants and various sports arenas world-widely.
Deputy Speaker, Dr Tulia Akson expressed gratitude to CRDB for coming up with the services saying will help much in easing transactions which is important for economic growth.
“If you need your economy to grow also you need to have services that will ease payments, it is a good move by CRDB and am sure it will help much our country in attaining its economic development, also this kind of service reflects policies and desire of the parliament together with the government of making sure more citizens receive financial services at affordable costs,” she said.
