Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale has accused Cord leader Raila Odinga of praying for the jailing of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
Mr Duale said Mr Odinga wanted the International Criminal Court (ICC) to jail President Kenyatta and Mr Ruto to guarantee his ascent to power.
He said the Jubilee Coalition would decide on whether to proceed with the Bill on the repeal of the International Crimes Act after the African Union decides on the way forward regarding the ICC.
At a press conference on Thursday, Mr Duale said Mr Odinga's statements in France confirmed that he and ODM were “the local component of the ICC.”
"The collapse of the cases does not spell doom to Africa but to their evil scheme and signals the end to their political careers, which were to be built on jailing the President and the Deputy President," Mr Duale said.
