A new national survey by the government has revealed that Nairobians have the highest percentage of multiple sex partners in the country.
According to the Kenya Demographic and Health Survey 2014, about one in every five men in Nairobi aged between 15 and 49 years is cheating on his sex partner.
Nairobians reported the highest percentage of multiple partners at 4 percent for women and 19 percent for men.
The survey was conducted by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Health and the National AIDS Control Council.
Nationally, the number of men cheating on their partners increased by about a half, from 9 per cent to 13 per cent. There was no notable change in the number of women cheating on their partners.
