Family Bank customers stand to win
millions of shillings in a deposit mobilisation drive dubbed “Tajirika
Na Mamilioni” aimed at rewarding them for their loyalty, encouraging
savings and growing the bank’s customer base which currently stands at
1.5 million.
The three-month promotion that will use a
multimedia platform started October 27 and will end on January 27,
2015. The overall winner will take home Sh3 million whilst other lucky
winners stand to win between Sh200,000 and Sh1 million in cash prizes.
“We are encouraging our customers
to pass every shilling through the Bank to enable them build healthy
accounts and nurture a culture of saving. Saving is even more important
when times are uncertain. You will be able to access credit to
positively transform your life and those of many others”, said Peter
Munyiri, Family Bank CEO.
To participate, one has to either:
- Open an account with Family Bank, then proceed to deposit and maintain a minimum balance of Sh5,000 for the duration of the campaign. With a minimum balance of Sh5,000 one automatically qualifies to enter the draw to win one of the weekly, monthly or grand prizes.
- For existing customers, they have to deposit and maintain a minimum balance of Sh5, 000 for 3 months to qualify for the promotion.
- For both existing and new customers - the more deposits one makes, the more entries and hence the more chances of winning.
- Winners will be notified by the bank’s customer service personnel
The cash prizes to be won are as follows:
Grand Draw:
- 1st Prize – Sh3 million
- 2nd Prize – Sh1 million
- 3rd Prize – Sh500,000. Plus lots of other cash prizes.
Monthly Draws:
- 1st Prize – Sh1 million
- 2nd Prize – Sh400,000
- 3rd Prize – Sh200,000. Plus lots of other cash prizes.
Last year, Family Bank ran a
successful campaign dubbed “Kunacha Acre na Milli” with the overall
winner going home with the ultimate prize of Sh3 million and an acre of
prime land.
The promotion comes on the
backdrop of the bank’s rapid expansion countrywide to bring financial
services closer to the customers.
