NHC houses in Kigamboni on sale, valued at 36m/- per unit

National Housing Corporation (NHC) has launched the sale of 214 medium cost houses in Dar es Salaam and reassured stakeholders that construction of affordable housing in at least 14 districts across the country is soon to be completed.


Speaking at the sale launch in Dar es Salaam recently, NHC Director of Business Development David Shambwe said the affordable housing project is to be completed within the next one and a half years (18 months).

The houses up for sale are located on the Mwongozo Estate in Kigamboni, Temeke municipality, Dar es Salaam having consumed up to 10bn/- to construct.
He called on all potential customers to make down payments explaining that the houses are valued at 36m/- and down payments are ten percent of the total.

“Customers have a variety of choices based on their financial muscle,” he said assuring would be buyers of value for their money.

NHC housing projects are also in progress in Mvomero, Morogoro Region, Mrara, Babati District, Mkuzo, Songea District, Bomba mbili, Geita and Mtanda, Lindi.
Other houses are Mlole in Kigoma and Ilembo in Katavi, Unyankumi in Singida, Mkinga in Tanga, Kongwa in Dodoma, Longido in Arusha, Kibada 1 in Dar es salaam and Uyui in Tabora.
