An Iranian man hasn't washed for over 60 years, which he has spent living in the desert and eating a diet of raw meat.
Amou
Haji hasn't washed for three decades as he believes cleanliness would
make him fall ill, but when his hair needs a trim he takes care of it by
burning his locks over a fire.
The 80-year-old lives
in a small village in Iran and when it comes time to sleep he nests in a
hole in the ground or in an open brick shack, which concerned locals
constructed for him.
Amou - who dresses in rags, smokes
animal faeces and lives on a diet of rotten meat - claims to have
beaten the previous record of going the longest time without washing by
nearly 25 years.
