Dar bourse records lower turnover in traded shares

Trading at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) on Friday recorded a lower turnover of 1.189bn/- from 727,967 shares transacted in 59 deals as compared to Thursday’s where a total of 2.495nm/- was recorded from 5,220,552 shares in 106 deals.


According to the DSE market report on Friday, foreign investors generated a turnover of 174.08m/- from the purchase of 596,100 CRDB shares and 1,600 NMB shares.
The CRDB counter had 62 shares traded at a weighted average price of 285/- per share in 15 deals while the NMB counter had 2,310 shares traded at weighted average price of 2,620/- per share in 9 deals.

On the other hand, the TWIGA counter had 100 shares traded at weighted average price of 2,660/- per share in one deal.

The DCB counter had 1,090 shares traded at the average price of 490/- per share in nine deals, while the SWISSPORT counter had 1,000 shares traded at weighted average price of 2,700/- per share in one deal.

The TBL counter had 69,600 shares traded at weighted average price of 8,000/- per share in 18 deals, while the TCC counter had 510 shares traded at weighted average price of 8,600/- per share in 5 deals.

The SIMBA counter had 95 shares traded at weighted average price of 2,020/- per share in one deal. On Pre-Arranged Crossing Board, the TBL counter had 55,500 shares traded at 8,000/- per share in one deal.

When the session was closed the CRDB counter had 72,000 shares on bid at prices ranging from 285/- to 270/- per share while the DCB counter had 5,900 shares on bid at 470/- and 470/- per share and 11,800 shares on offer at 490/- per share.
The NMB counter had 42,900 shares on bid at 2,620/- per share and 64,900 shares on offer at prices ranging between 2,640/- and 2,800/- per share.

The PAL counter had 1,500 shares on offer at 475/- per share, while the SWISSPORT counter had 2,300 shares on bid at 2,680/- per share. The TWIGA counter had 37,700 shares on offer at prices ranging from 2,660/- to 2,800/- per share.

TBL counter had 3400 shares on bid at 7,000/- per share and 52,100 shares on offer at 8,000/- per share.

On the other hand, the SIMBA counter had 16,800 shares on bid at 2,040/- and 2,020/- per share and 3,000 shares on offer at 2,300/- and 2,320/- per share.
The TCC counter had 1,000 shares on bid at 8,600/- per share. TOL counter had 83,900 shares on offer at 310/- per share.

Tatepa counter had 1,500 shares on offer at 650/- per share. Maendeleo counter had 10,200 shares on offer at 600/- per share.
