The bid by legislators to pull out from the Rome Statue comes at the wrong time when the Deputy President is facing trials at the ICC as his excellency awaits his turn.
This would show lack of cooperation from the Kenyan side.

After all, they are innocent unless proved guilty, so why the secret fears by the Jubilee members?
These leaders, good as they may be, will never remain in power forever.

If we are not members of the ICC then, impunity might continue because relying on the local justice systems will never end impunity as they are not trusted by Kenyans.
