Live updates: Uhuru, Kagame, Museveni meet in Uganda

1:10 EA: Mr Opondo says Uganda and Kenya last night discussed the need to undertake joint road project – Kapchorwa – Suam - Kitale to facilitate trade between the two countries and the need to support Uganda’s pharmaceutical manufactures, Quality Chemicals to supply drugs to Kenya and to allow for investments by Kenya in the company.


13:00 EA: The Uganda Media Center boss, Mr Ofwono Opondo, says after the meeting, the three presidents will sign a memorandum of understanding intended to clear Non-tariff barriers between the three countries.


12:45 EA: The presidents are joined by delegations from the three countries to discuss trade and investments in the region. The delegations include ministers of finance, Trade and Investment. They are meeting in the cabinet room.


12:25 EA: Kagame and Kenyetta join Museveni for breakfast and are to start closed trio-lateral talks
11: 45 EA: Presidents Uhuru Kenyatta and Paul Kagame have arrived at State House, Entebbe for a joint press conference with Mr Museveni. President Kagame arrived at Entebbe Airport at 9:30am for trial-talks while Kenyatta came Monday.
