CUSTOMER SERVICE MOBILE CLINICS

The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has held the first of its annual Mobile Customer Service Clinic across the country for 2013. The Clinics are carried out twice a year.

These clinics are conducted so that SSNIT contributors can easily and readily access their Statement of Accounts, seek redress on any challenges they have and make general enquiries about the Social Security Scheme. The service is part of efforts to extend quality customer service to the Trust's valued contributors who for some reasons cannot visit the SSNIT offices nearest them.

KOFORIDUA AREA
The Koforidua Area was not left out of the March 2013 Customer mobile Clinics. The event, though encouraging, was also subdued by the teachers' absence from the classrooms.

The Nkawkaw Branch held its Clinic at Abetifi, Koforidua Branch at the Koforidua Ghana Water Company (GWC) premises, Somanya at Asesewa, the Mampong Akwapim Branch at the Akropong District Audit premises, the Ho Branch at the Ho Polytechnic, the Hohoe Branch at the Hohoe main station, the Akim Oda Branch at the Government Hospital and the Denu Branch (Tema Area) at Adidome.

These two-pronged bi-annual Clinics have come to stay since they bring us closer to our customers and also enable us to sanitise our operational challenges.

TAKORADI AREA
In the Takoradi Area the mobile clinics experienced massive patronage.

The Takoradi, Axim and Assin Foso Branches, held their Clinics out of their office locations while the Cape Coast, Breman Asikuma and Tarkwa Branches located theirs within the township from where the offices are located.

The Takoradi, Axim and Assin Fosu Branches held their clinics at the Sekondi Regional office, Agona Nkwanta and Twifo Praso Oil Palm Plantations respectively.

The clinics were characterised by branded marquees with the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) logo.

ACCRA-TEMA AREA
The story was no different in the Accra/Tema Area. Ms Mary Magdalene Mensah, a Customer Service Officer at the Tema East Branch, commended the Management of the Trust for the concept which she believes "has tremendously impacted on our customers, especially those that are often caught up by office duties and never had the opportunity to visit us for their amendments".

She further advised contributors wishing to take advantage of future Customer Service Clinics to "come along with Social Security numbers or Reference numbers to facilitate the process".
