HAKIPENSHENI, INC.

The Company is a non profit generating organ and its main objectives is to protect and promote the pension rights of workers, retirees, and their families, and the poor people. The nation's leading pension educator, the Center is also at the forefront of efforts to reform the nation's pension programs, targeting inequities in pension laws, providing policymakers with reasoned analyzes of pension issues, and proposing workable solutions to pension problems. The Center's activities will be supported by foundation and government grants, sales of publications, and contributions from organizations and individuals.

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Company is formed for the following objectives;
HakiPensheni Profile, Inc originated in 2010 with the goal of developing better ways to utilize and deliver data about the pension industry to professionals and institutions that service the pension industry.

The HakiPensheni (Pension Rights) Project, assists Tanzanian residents of any age with pension issues and poor.  We also help individuals who worked in all upcountry regions or worked for a company whose headquarters are there.  Typical pension questions and problems that we handle are:
  • Providing basic advice about pension laws and pension rights
  • Providing information on old age pension, invalidity pension, survivor benefits, maternity benefits, health care benefits, employment injury and occupational diseases, funeral grant, and rights of divorced persons
  • Resolving pension problems
  • Providing referrals to experienced pension attorneys as needed
  • Finding lost pensions
Hotline, which is a program of HakiPensheni Project , Inc., a private, non-profit organization based in Dar Es salaam.  HakiPensheni Project is dedicated to helping older Tanzanians maintain their independence by empowering them, by protecting their interests, and by helping them access resources. Donations from individuals, organizations, foundations, and corporations are appreciated.
