The engineer was inspecting the putting up of the cable and later spoke to stakeholders in the region in efforts of learning challenges facing the exercise. Mr Kalobelo said that generally the exercise is going on well all over the country and the government wishes to see that citizens benefit from it in urban and rural areas so as to match with the era of science and technology.
He said that once the exercise is completed, it will be easy for students and all other people to use the services which will include internet and quick access to other forms of communication.

Mr Lupembe assured the engineer and the government at large that the council will safeguard the infrastructure.
