DAR ES SALAAM: In November 2023, Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) initiated the

In just 16 weeks, the campaign distributed a staggering 1.1 billion Tanzanian Shillings to consumers, resulting in transformative wins for over 2 million individuals, underscoring the campaign’s profound impact on the lives of Tanzanians. These prizes provided a dependable source of financial assistance for numerous participants.
The Maokoto Ndani ya Kizibo Campaign came to a close in January 2024 that unfolded across eight zones, leaving no corner of Tanzania untouched. The campaign extended its benevolence to major cities such as Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Iringa, Ruvuma, Mwanza, Mara, Dodoma, Bukoba, Tanga, and Mbeya, impacting the lives of countless Tanzanians.
The real success of Maokoto Ndani ya Kizibo lies in the stories of its winners, such as Brown Ponela, a grateful businessperson from Dar es Salaam, who expressed his appreciation, saying, “I am very grateful to SBL for this prize money. I am a businessman selling beverages, and I will use this money to increase stock and grow my business.”
Aisha Mohammed from Mtwara shared her disbelief at being declared a winner, emphasizing how the prize money would enable her to start her own business after working at her sister’s restaurant. Maselina Msekela, a farmer, conveyed her initial skepticism about winning but joyfully revealed, “This money will help me in agriculture. I am happy that I can’t express how I feel.”
Noel Tesha, a mechanical worker from Singida, expressed his gratitude, “Before winning, I had tried to participate almost 10 times. I am grateful that I got lucky and won because I will use this money to broaden the services, I offer at my mechanic workshop.”
