Kenya’s banking sector credit risk is easing but lenders should
be careful not to engage in reckless lending, the governor of the
central bank said on Tuesday.

Njoroge told a news conference that Kenya’s economic growth was likely
to rise to 6.3 percent this year from an estimated 6.1 percent in 2018,
driven by robust expansion in the agriculture sector.
