per cent rise in net profit in the
half year ended June, buoyed by higher sales and lower costs.

The company made a net
profit of Sh2 billion in the period compared to Sh1.94 billion a year
earlier as sales rose 1.93 per cent to Sh17.4 billion.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange-listed firm declared an interim dividend of Sh3.5 per share, same as for the previous year.
The company says its sales rose due to incremental pricing and distribution expansion initiatives.
