Tele-network jams in Rujewa

TELEPHONE network jammed in Rujewa, Mbarali and Mbeya after annular solar eclipse tourists have flocked the area to witness the historical event.

The network jammed some 20 minutes before the full eclipse at 1150 hours denied social media users the chance to witness the event live stream on internet, Facebook, whatApps and Twitter.
The reports have it that there were some 4,000 visitors from various parts of the country but majority are from nearby regions of Mbeya, Songwe, Njombe, Iringa and Rukwa.
“Tele-network is a problem here.There are some many people here who came to witness this event,” Mroki Mroki, HabariLeo Online reporter said.
Due to tele-network jamming reports, bloggers and netizen reporters failed to send and upload pictures on social media.
