PRESIDENT John Magufuli has appointed Mr Julian Raphael new Deputy Governor of the Bank of Tanzania (BoT).
A statement from Chief Secretary Ombeni Sefue said that the appointment is effective from January 26, 2016.
Before his appointment, Mr Raphael was
the Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Trade and Industry in
the Zanzibar Revolutionary Government.
According to the chief secretary, the new deputy governor replaces Mr Juma Reli whose contract expired on July 12, 2015.
