Oil marketer Total Kenya has launched a competition for start-ups that have been in existence for less than two years.
The start-up of the year competition is part of a wider initiative by the firm covering 34 countries in Africa.
Business run by the youth will have a chance to win Sh2.5 million, Sh1.5 million and Sh1 million for the three top winners.
Start-ups can apply for the competition from November 1, and entries will only be done online.
“We
will be looking at competitiveness, innovation, job creation and the
likelihood to drive local content,” Total Kenya boss Ada Eze said.
