Kenya Power has said it has managed to restore all electricity supplies to areas affected by this morning’s outage.
The Company’s General Manager, Network Management Eng. Benson Muriithi, reported the Company technicians succeeded in restoring power to all affected customers in less than three hours.
The technical fault was traced to a high voltage substation at Dandora area in Nairobi.
“Upon investigation, we found out that a phase in one of our high voltage lines was partly burnt causing power lines serving different parts of the country to trip. The anomaly has since been rectified and all supplies normalised by 1.00 pm.” he said.
