The owner of a five-storey building that is sinking has gone into hiding, County Planning and Development Executive Elizabeth Karoki said on Monday.

She said the developer was being sought after it emerged that she did not get approval from the county government to put up the structure.
“If she had any permit, it must have been acquired illegally,” said Ms Karoki.
The building at Ndongoro Village is leaning and will be demolished as soon as the county government obtains a court order.
