Here is how our thoughts make us who we are

In Summary
  • Everything in life is an expression of the mind while the body is merely a robot that carries out its instructions.

The reason some people find it difficult to grasp the law of attraction is because we think in pictures.

If I asked you to imagine your mind, you would probably picture your brain. This is because no one has ever seen the mind. We do not have a picture of it and the brain sounds like the closest thing to the mind.
Everything in your life is an expression of your mind — thinking. This is why it is very easy for enlightened persons to judge one’s character, background and level of intellect just by studying an individual’s life path.
Your body which is what you most likely think is merely a robot that carries out instructions from your thinking. Your mind is made up of two parts. Your conscious mind and your subconscious mind.
Your conscious mind: this is your thinking mind. Your free will and awareness originate here.
You can choose your thoughts here because your conscious mind is the part that has the ability to accept or reject ideas.
These ideas are either originated by you or are received from your physical environment — radio, TV, newspapers and life around you. Contrary to popular belief, this means that you have 100 per cent control over your thinking which creates your life.
Your subconscious mind on the other hand is your feeling or emotional mind. This is the part of your mind where you store your memories, habits, conditioned beliefs, and self-image.
If you understand this concept properly, you can choose to focus on what you want instead of what you don’t want or what doesn’t work for you.
The thoughts you hold in your conscious mind if accepted by you, are delivered into your sub-conscious mind where they are emotionally charged.
Whether these thoughts are positive or negative when they are emotionalised, these thoughts impress themselves upon the subconscious mind, which then dictates the feelings you experience.
They have full command of your internal positive or negative vibrations which are then experienced as moods on your physical plane.
It is these vibrations, feelings or moods that inform the actions your body carries out and it is these actions that your world reacts to in direct proportion to create your life’s results.
You know: results don’t lie. Look around you. Notice those who are doubtful, fearful, worrisome and indecisive?
They will never be top performers unless they change the root cause of what makes them act that way — their thinking.
