Services at the Lands Ministry have been disrupted as the 10-day audit process begins.
This comes despite protests from the National Land Commission which has termed the closure of the ministry as illegal.

On Wednesday, Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu said university students have been hired to arrange the files during the audit.

She also told the Nation that the Public Service Commission has appointed Ms Jane Ndiba as Senior Deputy Chief Lands Registrar.
More to follow.
