All pensioners should be treated equally. Their
ranks are no longer relevant when it comes to pension increments because
those in higher ranks have already benefited from higher payment in
terms of gratuity and pension remuneration.
My outcry stems from continuous persecution and discrimination slapped on lower rank pensioners who by reasons beyond their control, could not be promoted.
Why would someone craft the idea of validation exercise to deny low ranking officers their due increments?
We pensioners are not asking for much. All we are saying is that in case there is any salary/pension increment, let it cut across the board.
Concerned pensioner,

Is there any genuine reason as to why a retired
senior officer should be condemned to earning less than Shs700,000 per
month as pension when physical validation could reveal that, the officer
being trampled upon could have been the rightful principal, assistant
commissioner, commissioner, etc?
We pensioners are not asking for much. All we are saying is that in case there is any salary/pension increment, let it cut across the board.
