THE Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Vocational Training has urged students at the University of Dodoma to fully utilise the Chinese Language Laboratory funded by China to sharpen their Chinese language skills.
Also, they were advised to cultivate
more skills in Chinese language and culture through the ultra-modern
Chinese Language Laboratory to grasp more knowledge as China has opened
doors to trade with the rest of the world including Tanzania.
This was said by the Deputy Minister, Ms
Stella Manyanya, while inaugurating an ultra- modern Chinese Language
Laboratory at the University of Dodoma recently. The deputy minister
said: “
It goes without saying that we have a
substantial amount of landmarks which can be attributed to this
everlasting relationship based on various activities executed in the
country by China and Tanzania.
For example, Tanzanians now benefit both
in education through scholarships and trade” said the deputy minister.
She noted that by teaching Chinese language and culture to our young
generation we will gradually transform our society both in social and
economic well-being through grasping the knowledge of Chinese language
and culture.
The deputy minister also said that
because China has advanced in science and technology, a situation that
is highly needed by our communities, our state economy will grow faster
through application of technology from China, said Eng. Manyanya.
She further said, the government of
People’s Republic of China have been supporting our country in numerous
areas of the economy, including construction, agriculture, medicine and
education.
